though I am not as loud.
For I am an imperfect American,
and it's dangerous to be proud.

Of all the troubles in the world;
the wars, the hunger that remain undeterred,
the biggest problem that I see
is with American society.

So the song I sing is not only for America;
it's for every part of me.
I sing for my rainbow flag and iron cross,
and everything that I have lost.
I am myself and nothing more;
not an archetype, demographic, or something that came before.

The melody of America
is not the loudest in my song.
Because thats only one part of me,
