A seasonal Fairy Spring Queen

Green , yellows and reds have become favorite colors for me to paint with
Completed with watercolor and watercolor pencils on Arches 140lbs hotpress paper.
My friend karla was the model for this painting,she loves posing and art as much as i do

The forest behind her is what caught my attention at first, it's nothing less than amaing. As I have said before you are incredible good at creating backgrounds. I like her skin colour as well, along with the soft looking black hair. The red rose really takes your attention here. I was wondering about the white areas of her face, it it suppose to be this light? It stands out compared to rest of the skin. Anyway, a beautiful piece indeed and again - love the background

well my friend had bunch of white
sparkly glitter on the light
also gave that effect
and it was hard to paint it,
next time i wll try something different
to get that effect,something like i did
with the wings
