This is so nice! I like the color transition of your lighting, and how the blue of the left side seems to complement the purple of the lower parts of the flowers and the yellow of the right side seems to complement the cream-colored upper parts of the flowers. I also like how the the flowers are lighter at the top of the arrangement and get darker at the bottom following the lighting gradations. My eye is very drawn to the purple daisies in the foreground. It seems to anchor the picture somehow. How did you get such a color contrast with the lighting?
I like the concept of the image where the quote seems to refer to several elements of your image. Your reference to the sunrise in relation to the quote is more obvious, but it also seems that parts of the cream and purple flowers are dying and others are blooming, which would represent the quote very nicely.

As for the color contrast... this was shot in daylight, which always gets you great tones and contrast, but I also adjusted the color a bit in photoshop and also overlayed a "bifocal filter" on top

The walls (at least at that time) were yellow.. this was shot pretty much right in the middle of the day and actually I was testing out the lens. I liked the shot and composition enough that I wanted to do something with it, but the bland yellow wall just didn't do it for me, so I overlayed a bifocul filter on it (much like those that if I had, I would have attached to the lens) which is blue/yellow. I like the effect so much and it reminded me of a rising sun and the night fading away in the rich colored blues as the sun brightened up the day with yellows that the name came naturally
I'm definitely not one to "hoard secrets" so if you ever wanna know how something was done, just ask! Over the years, I've had to get pretty creative with setups, so there are sometimes funny stories behind how a shot actually came about

Oh, cool! I don't know much about the technical aspects about photography so I'm always fascinated by how photographers get their images. I really enjoyed the specifics you gave.
