Dang she definitely qualifies as a knight. Mentioning the long sword and crossbow were superior sure in her time around medieval times but say hello to a auto nation weapon and a lightsaber. Errr I guess if she shot first she would win.

Well, modern weaponry would have an edge for sure, but not really likely to come into play. Although a skilled enough user could probably even the odds a bit.

Sure I guess in fictional world where people could dodge bullets and block the
with shields of magic, that also applies to the lightsaber if she realizes that her blade will get torn apart by the heat dodging and talking the right time to strike could win even with a molten blade. Let's hope she can keep her hand unlike Luke!

Thanks. Yes, I saw them. Replies are a bit slow because I am taking time to think out and draw the responses in the middle of other things. I think your first question is technically next though.

Well, restoring the Order to its former glory might be pretty difficult, since most of it was wiped out and the surviving members aren't in any real hurry to do much about it. There are a few reasons for this, but mostly, the world has moved on since their destruction in some pretty dramatic ways.

ah so they have been long forgotten or put in the notes of history never to be reserected again. that will explain it for now.

Well, sort of. There are still plenty of players on both sides of the conflict and, like the real Templars, they left enough things behind that they are still a very big part of the world, just not actively. Some groups or individuals may want to bring back the Order for good or ill, but the world itself has changed dramatically, so there isn't a huge public push to do so. It may come up as I develop things a bit more.

I see so the group will come back then but as of now the demand for it's return is not high fair enough then. also I found this while looking up jousting apprentlly. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military…
and the Templars surived by being formed up in Portugal. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of…
well techoncally to be precise. so something like that along the lines that the order in there can surivive but under a different name also did you see my post regarding gunpowder on the fae one calling the weapon primitive. she best watch her back less she be taken down a few pegs by it.

Correct. The Templars transferred many of their assets the the Knights of Malta and Rhodes as well as the Hospitallers, and survived outside of France. The main blow of 1312 did effectively destroy the group as the massive force it had been, and its position as a world-spanning juggernaut was lost. It has a very interesting history for sure!
Some scattered elements of the Urzh Kroashent also survived in a similar way, but the main organizational structure was all but crushed.

yes, yes it has and it had never recovered since then.
ah good at least from those elements they can rebuild the main body again though which one is worthy of doing it is the question.

Remains to be seen. I have a few ideas on where it goes, but that's getting more into plot instead of world-building and characters though.

ah so get the world and chars built first then the plot. ok then that makes sense.

I have some of the plot worked out, but in very broad strokes. Having the rest in place seems like a more productive way to go about it than working everything out as I go along.
