I'm a Cancer, so my element is water, and I love how you depicted it here. A lot of people say that black and blue don't go together, but I tend to like the combination; the contrast of rough darkness and smooth, calm blue. Very nice!!

im a leo, myself. what kind of markers/colored pencil do you prefer? im looking to buy some more art supplies, but want to get away from crayola stuff. lol.

I use prismacolor markers and colored pencils. Crayola markers are really shitty actually, so I'd stay away from them. Prismas are pretty accessible and easy to use, but expensive.

Well, I looked up some photos of what water looks like in midair, and just used what I observed to make my own! It's very "mirrory" and high contrast looking.

Wow, nice picture! Great job with the character's pose and the colouring. I particularly like the blue parts and how they complement the water being manipulated in his hands.

Thanks so much! ^__^ Sorry for my late reply, I do appreciate your comment... I did teach myself this technique, though I think lots of other artists use it.

Love the Black and Blue color scheme. And the wings actually look like they belong! (Some try to add wings and they FAIL.) And, as always, excelent job with the texture.

Man I admire your art so much! I wish I was as talented at creating textures and having appropriate lighting as you are. Your art always looks so clean, I get wrapped up in every one of your pieces. You are probably the only artist I watch whose work I stare at for a very long time just taking in all the detail. XD

The aquarius birthstone is Amethyst, which you can actually purchase for relatively little! I have a lot of amethyst stuff because it's my birthstone. =3
