Finished version of this: [link]This is my old cat, Bandit. (:
First time I've ever painted with watercolors, And I'm quite happy with it. The only thing that bothers me is that the tail would have to be quite long to connect to his butt, so lets pretend my cat has an abnormally long tail XD
Time: 3.5 hours, with breaks
Materials: 9x12 Water color paper, water color paints, pencil, and obviously paint brushes varying in size.
This is a scan, the colors look better in person. less contrasted

I loved this one. You were branching out into something new, and you had great results. It's not perfect, but you certainly gave this your best. I am betting you put a lot of yourself into this one and probably felt drain once it was finished.

Yes, I worked very hard on this!!! I loved my cat very much and also was determined to make my first piece in that medium turn out well. I still enjoy watercolor very much; my favorite form of painting.
