This is nicely composed. I like how there are three spaces here: the white backlight, the right side of your face, and then the hair. Taking all three, the face is actually the smallest--like it's just a tiny window. As if to say, "this is only a small part of me. I'm not sharing the rest."

Great use of the light, It kinda melds the lightbackground with the hightones in the hair, Well meshed. Also, you have great very strong eyes. n_n

The one with you laying down wasn't too bad. I think I like your hair like that better than down, but that's just a personal thing. The one with you sitting up is kind of a bit distracting with your robe open like that, but yeah... That's a stupid guy thing. Please don't hate me for saying that. *hides*
I think a really soft light coming at you from frame left and toning down the lamp behind you would help a lot.
Kind of like on those pieces that first got me devWatching you. Remember them? The lighting was really soft, which for *most* portraits is nice. Not all, but most. The light on your face in this one is quite a bit softer than the light in the others. All you'd really need to do is set up a white sheet or big piece of white paper to reflect some of the light from the lamp back at you from that direction, or another lamp behind a white sheet would work even better. It breaks up the light a lot and makes it all soft and cooey and snuggly looking.
You're a very beautiful girl who takes beautiful pictures. I'm a bit afraid to see the results when you get to be *AWESOME*, which you will in time.
Those pictures then may very well enthrall me.
