Description Aww, look, it's that Persian guy! <333 Nadir.

Don't know why they can't seem to put him in any movies. Or cast a non-causasian when they actually do so.

As I'm sure JacquesMoineau will point out, he looks rather like Johnny Depp. This cannot be helped, I'm afraid. I tried.

He's so sweet and handsome and tired-looking. I'm not sure if it's one of my muses, or just me, but I think I have omgsocuteacrush on him. I just hope it's not my Erik muse.

Okay, despite how you meant that, my brain took it as Christine leading Raoul down to Erik's lair, telling him not to be such a fuckin' puss, and catching him after a long drop. And I was like, "Yeah...I can see how Raoul would feel out-masculined."

I just read the Nadir section of "Phantom" and nowhere his eyes are described as "Jade". Perhaps later in the book...

His eyes are indeed described as jabe in Leroux's novel.

I KNOW I'm going to be slapped for this, but I think Nadir is cooler than Erik...he actually has a real reason to angst over things. Yeah, I know, Erik is ugly and deathish and has had a crapload of things happen to him...but Erik had never known real love, and Nadir had and he LOST IT. I, personally think that is a lot worse than just being unable to attract affection.

Yes, I too, have a crush on Nadir, but for me it's not 'next to the phantom'. For me it's 'Erik is too cute...next to Nadir'.

Heh...yeah. He's tragic...and old. And I kind of picture Nemo from LXG...not that I can EVER remember that dude's name or anything

I don't intend to slap you. I mean, I can't say I agree with your belief that Nadir has more to be sad about than Erik...but he's definitely a wonderful character in his own right, and he's certainly unlucky, in general.

Oh, it's there for many reasons. His job, the death of his wife, his natural tendency to stress over everything...but I shall tell you that, as with many other aspects of Nadir's anatomy, Erik has DEFINITELY enlarged it.

Yes, he does look like Johnny Depp. This is good. He looks like a tired, worried, sad Johnny Depp...my goddess, I want to hug this guy. He looks absolutely gorgeous in your pic, and, like you, I have this odd little random sort of crush on him anyway. Not a full-blown love/lust affair like I do for Erik, mind you....

I do think his eyes are supposed to be green, though.

I think Nadir and Raoul have something going on in the book. I really do. It's like Leon and Ashley in Resident Evil 4.

I love Nadir. I actually thought about drawing him and someone else together, but I got lazy . He is so so very huggable...I love him. He's such a wonderfully well-developed character.

Green eyes, eh? That hadn't occured to me. I don't believe it mentions it, anywhere...but do correct me if I'm wrong.

That's good, the poor guy needs more fans. I wish ALW had managed to get him in the musical, somehow =>/.<= *hugs him* He's my second-favorite to Erik, because of said development and huggableness. Although I'd probably scare the poor guy half out of his mind if I did hug him.
