I used a very gentle wool and three thin needle(38 star, connected by a rubber band), for smoothing the surface. I connect three needles with rubber bands, and I do many easy pricks (one near another, it is very close) perpendicular to a surface. And I repeat this for a long, long time, until I get a good result. That's all I know ^^
