Finally some more regular art on here! This was something I have been meaning to do for a while, of an updated ref for the OC I made for BNVLNT-MAGZ 's original "Clock Diamond" universe, Jordan! I first made them back in 2019 , and since then I've done quite a bit of reworking for them, most notably in their design and finalizing some parts of their backstory that weren't super figured out before. I did their new bio(down below) back in August and only recently got their new reference picture done, but I am still happy either way to give them more love and the glow-up they deserve~
One tiny design note I want to mention since I'm not sure how clear it came across in their ref, but I changed up their piercings a little bit. For both ears they have double lobes, their left ear has two helix/cartilage piercings, their right ear has an industrial piercing, and they have a right eyebrow piercing now as well.

Other than all that, I hope you all enjoy their revamp!

Jordan, while originally from Javelin Rally, moved to Neo Clockwork City as a toddler after being adopted by Axel and Mike Bailey, two men in their late-twenties who were looking to start a family together after being married for a couple of years. Growing up, Jordan was a relatively peaceful child, though with their adhd and anxiety, were also quite restless and impulsive in their actions and words. From a young age they could feel something felt wrong with them, but it was not till they got to middle school and did some research and self-reflection did they realize they were non-binary, and never really connected with societal gender norms. After coming out, they were now free to express themself and explore more of their own style, with their trans uncle(Axel's brother) being one of their biggest supporters and help in figuring out their feelings about their gender identity. Now as an adult, Jordan is feeling much better about themself from their younger years, though they still deal with some occasional bouts of anxiety and negative thoughts that keep them up at night.
During a summer they spent with some family in Javelin Rally after they graduated high school, they made some friends who were just starting up their own punk rock band. They never officially joined them as they never had any musical experience prior, but they did like the genre and the news friends so they still tagged along with them anyway. During their time spent with the band they mostly acted as the road crew for them in helping them set up for performances, but they started to jam along with them during rehearsals as they started to learn how to play the electric guitar. Though eventually Jordan had to go back to Neo Clockwork City, they still deeply valued and kept in-touch with the friends they made, and was even inspired by their time together with them to fully commit to the punk aesthetic.
They are a considerate and thoughtful person, though sometimes a bit clueless to the outside world as they are often off day-dreaming. Despite this, they can be pretty resourceful, as they know quite a few ways on getting information and forming plans. Quite friendly too, they are a bit of a people-pleaser in that they want people to be as comfortable and happy as possible, but this often comes as a detriment to their own needs and well-being. While they never really wondered about their birth family, they do have some questions about the peculiar air-based abilities they seem to have, about where they came from and what it means for them to have them.
