Suck at being creative? Mér finnst þetta nú bara vel 'creative'... veit ekki alveg hvað ég á að lesa út úr þessu en það skortir ekki möguleikana eins og ~drigulch sýnir...

This has a very eerie energy to it. The way that the girl who used to be appears to produce , project, and bathe in her own supernatural sanguinary stuff makes me think she is some very super fortified, sinister sort of Erzabet Bathory. Fed up with trying to acquire a insistent supply of young maidens to keep her eternally beautiful and feeling fresh, she may have made some exceptionally evil pact with the dark forces to employ the power of the ancient apple to produce her desired, perverse results like a perpetual motion machine of self help malevolence.

woah, that's really deep and cool. Thank you. I don't really know how to respond to your comment but thank you, really.
I've never thought about my painting that way and I've never heard of Erzabet Bathory before but I googled her and she's very interesting and fascinating.
I see my painting in a whole new light now.
Maybe it isn't as uncreative as I thought it was.

i find it amazingly creative. The portrait resonates with me on so many levels. i suspect that there is far more symbolism and suggestion of mystery lurking beneath those blood soaked waters than shall ever be entirely revealed. When the former girl takes such a plunge and alone knows what lies down under, i think her new born incarnation never reveals what went on while she was down and now come back up a whole new other.

This image touches on those aspects of of the old garden of eden tale to me; but in a way that roles the contrasting perspectives of the tale altogether. The Lady her looks to be both Eve and Lilith blended together. The tree that springs from her seems both that famous forbidden fruit tree, as well as the tree of life -- though very intriguingly, the tree of life seems to be born of woman. The way that the fruit of her own loins is dripping blood into the pool where she lingers is most fascinating to me. Pretty powerful imagery there, if the precise essence of it is not so clear. it does absolutely remind me of Lady Bathory, stepping into her notorious tub as the innocent young girl with a clean slate, emerging from her bath as somebody else entirely, now strangely uncleansed -- like Lady mcBeth despite all of her attempts to remain that young lady she once was by any means. Her own action insuring that she is forever changed and not the girl who used to be.

You are the one to be thanked for sharing your awesome, intensely inspiring creativity in so graciously conjuring and sharing such powerful and thought provoking works. Each time i very happily visit and indulge in this portrait i find more and more in your metamorphosed Mistress to manipulate my mind. She is a rare radiant gem with infinite facets and takes on as many looks every time you gaze upon her from another angle, under an alternate light. That is a quality magical in itself.
