Description Alles auf dieser Welt hat seinen Preis.
(Everything in this world has its price.)

This composite was inspired by the children's novel Krabat by Otfried Preußler. It was one of my childhood favourites (though I had plenty ha ha). I believe the English title was The Satanic Mill.
The novel is about an orphan (Krabat) who finds his way to a mill. He is offered an apprenticeship at the mill, but soon after, joins a secret brotherhood, because the master of the mill is actually a Black Magician. There are always 13 apprentices and at the end of the year the master of the mill duels one of them, because he has a pact with the Lord (Death, basically): every year the master either has to sacrifice somebody else or his own life. So by dueling (or otherwise conquering) one of this apprentices, the master may live one year longer...and I shall not spoil more of the plot in case you want to read the book or watch the movie

But anyways, in the book, the apprentices are able to transform into black crows and hence I wanted to make a tribute to it.
I hope you like it
