We're engaged. xD SniperPlushie wears her's on a necklace, because it's too big for her currently. So, she takes if off for pictures. If I take mine off, there's a big white gap on my finger anyways, so I just keep it on. ^^

That's an item to treasure. My grandparents' wedding rings should be in a box but my idiot father managed to convince my grandfather to let him have them for his marriage to my stepmom. Granny (who passed before my parents' divorce) would never have agreed to my dad marrying my stepmother. My brother and I didn't talk to my dad for months afterwards when we found out he'd asked my grandfather for them.
I'm really happy that something like that will be used for something as precious as your wedding. *grins* Have you two set a date yet?

We're content just living together for now. There's not rush, after all. xD
We'd really like to get a house, or at least our own place, first...that's for sure. But, we've been engaged for about a year, now and both of us are happy as clams. ^^'

Starting off, apartment or rental place is generally the best way. However, with the market as it is, it might not hurt to check into purchasing houses. You can get good ones for cheap.
