I like so much when photographers allow the water to be clear and sparkly, rather than using a slower exposure and going for the smoky look. Very nice job!

I agree!! Sometimes the frosty water works nicely, to me, like on large waterfalls but this little one needed to be sparkling clear

Me too!! Just might do so tomorrow Supposed to get back up to the 100's over the weekend into next week so heading up into the mountains sounds good

I was so sorry to read about all your electrical etc. problems. Have you gotten them fixed? I don't have any spare $$ but do have the thought - out here with the "local" PG&E (gas and electric comp.) they have a couple levels of payments/costs. If you make below a certain amount for a family of three or larger (I think) then you pay a considerably lower rate for your utilities...you may be able to qualify They also have several programs and grants for doing things to weatherize and make your home more energy efficient - like bulb exchanges and weatherstripping. You can even get a new refrigerator if your current one is so many years old! I had to look into the program a while ago when my husband was out of work for over a year - it took me a while to get over my pride but they explained that the pool of money these things come from is created by those who pay the regular rates and I've been paying regular rates for 35 years!!! So I feel that it was ok to use some of it - get a bit back LOL. I hope this helps...not enough to pay that electrician bill but...

Thanks for the pointers. I have done a little recently to lower bills etc. We are filing a claim with our home owners insurance and hoping that they will cover some of this. Any will help. I see a long hard road ahead. I'm just going to do my best to be diligent about making new stuff for my shop and I have a few ideas for setting up a second shop. Will see what happens. I always have lots of ideas and can never quite make them come to light. I need more energy! Thanks!
