- Regarding her age: Wood elves are historically long lived, up to ~360-400 years (about four and a half to five times human life expectancy) but this trend has been reversing in recent generations. Astra’s cohort will likely live ~140 years, making her age of 44 equivalent to a human 25 year old.

I didn’t want to overcrowd my ref, so if anyone wants more a more straightforward description of strengths/weaknesses:
Strengths: an excellent, nimble climber, academic background and knowledge on a wide variety of subjects; observant and a quick thinker. Nature magic, good camouflage. Don’t try to fight her in a forest.
Weaknesses: Curious and oftentimes puts aside common sense in this pursuit. Can overestimate her own intellect and plans. Dignified; can be prideful. Physically fit but little practical experience fighting. Relies heavily on her environment if she has to fight and would fare poorly in a wide open space.
** I added some embroidery on here for funsies but honestly that isn’t something that anyone needs to worry about including. I’m all about simplifying/stylizing. On a related note, if any potential opponent feels it would be best to kill this character for their story, that’s fine.**
** You can def. assume she has at least one additional outfit in her bag, I just haven't come up w/ a ref/design for it yet. That's all for now, if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

Yeahhh, it's usually in Round 1 where all of the people determine whether they're able or not to meet the expectations and requirements/devotion that an OCT demands. I hope everyone does their best to stick through with it, and I will too! WE GOT THIS BROSKI. LET US VETERANS MAKE A LEADING EXAMPLE!

And yes, this is all digital; the paper is just an overlay/multiply layer + I used a textured airbrush for some of the shading.

Already, I feel like the stage is set for when we have a well-meaning explorer and yet, things (aka what lies beyond the oral rumors of Walking City) is much more terrifying. The reason why Walking City should not be explored/should have stayed a rumor.......
Astra is depicted in a rather light-hearted way, or at least in my mind, that I'm just really curious and intrigued to think about the possibilities of your plot to describe Walking City...and of course, the character development.
For the reference sheet, I admire your concise, less wordy format. That's something, I, myself need to get more into the habit towards. I'm usually way too word-heavy, as if my comments don't speak for themselves! 
With people, characters, and entries like yours, I feel a little intimidated, but in a good way to try to best myself (with my partner). A good and yet scary kind of motivation! You seem like a very nice person though, just your skill set is amazing. Once again, good luck in Walking City. I'll be rooting for you! ^^

Anyway, thank you! It’s reassuring for me to hear that you think Astra’s ref is concise, because I can get really wordy, too. I think that giving readers and potential opponents a good basis/starting idea and then letting them extrapolate and draw their own conclusions is a good way to go about references. Fun, too! My fav part of any OCT is seeing how people interpret your character/their opponents. Hopefully I can develop her fittingly and not disappoint.
Haha, definitely don’t be intimidated by a slowpoke like me, though- it’s the speedy people you gotta watch out for. : p But, I definitely agree that that sort of feeling makes me want to compete more as well.
