Description

This is an AU that I made up based on a dream that I have. It was kinda inspired by with their PPG AUs I also reused some of the designs from my PPG and RRB AU (Glitch Set) that I have before, and I'm also planning to scrap that AU for personal reasons. And I also think that this AU makes more sense and I have other people to help me develop this AU as I go on. And also, the PPG and RRB still have the same names, just a different group name due to AU. So hope you like it!

(I'm still deciding on the powers of the PPG and RRB though-)

Backstory/Summary:
In this AU, there exists two different kinds of super lifeforms. The Puffs and the Ruffs. There were humans also too, but before Puffs and Ruffs existed, here's how the story played out. There were 2 sides of humanity, the Cute ones and the Cool/Badass ones. Each was born with a birthmark to determine their destiny. Spades or Diamonds if you're a Cool/Badass. Stars or Hearts if you're a Cute one.

The humans lived in peace, both Cool and Cute until one day, the Cool/Badass being the warrior race that they were, decided to have an uprising against the cute ones.There was a war, between Cute and the Badass Because of their strength and determination, eventually the Badass won the war and claimed dominion over Cute ones with a regime that the weak served the strong and the strong competed among each other to prove who is the strongest.

However, eventually, the cute gathered together and formed a resistance against this cruel regime, and took back the world for themselves with the roles eventually being reversed, the cute ones proving themselves manipulative, and conniving due to fear towards the Badasses. However eventually the PastelPuff Girls (AU Powerpuff Girls) came along and before the Cute ones could take over and genocide the Badasses from existence, set order among this chaotic world. Nowadays the Cute ones are known as "Puffs" and the Badass ones are known as "Ruffs" since the PastelPuff Girls set order to this world with equality and justice.(edited)

As time went on, these superbeings grew more in existance and eventually, 30% of the world has the superpower beings while the rest of 70% are normal powerless humans. But this internal conflict between the Cute Puffs and the Badass Ruffs are still going, but most are willing to tolerate each other. Except for some individuals, especially villains who believed the world was better when it was under the Cute/Badasses rule. So the Pastelpuffs do their best to save the world and set things to peace and order.

Powers:

The difference of powers between the Puffs and Ruffs are vastly different. Puffs possess no physical abilities of any kind, and are no different from normal humans when it comes to the body. However, to make up for their lack of physical powers, they possess various kinds of magical abilities that develop over time either through learning, or on their own. A Puff's magical power can be varying, and many Puffs are able to mix and match their magical abilities to create even stronger powers with the strongest ones being able to summon minions and helpers.

Ruffs possess superhuman abilities, and are stronger, faster, more agile, can endure more pain and damage, and are overall more sturdier. In addition to these superhuman abilities, a badass can mix and match superhuman abilities as well, such as training to become faster and stronger, or training to become stronger and more durable. However, they possess little, if any magic. Should they develop magic, they only develop one or two powers.(edited)

Terms:
Cuties and Badasses are usually used as term back then before Puffs and Ruffs existed. Puffs are slangs for cuties nowadays and Ruffs are slangs for Badasses. But if it is referred ONLY for humans specifically then, you use Cuties and Badasses as that term. Puffs and Ruffs are for everyone or just the superpowered beings.
