Genji, fed up with living in Wynsiph , decides that he wants to move out and travel away from this place he so loathes. But he can't leave and go travel unprepared, so he starts putting together a travel kit. But wait... He'll need a ride and something to start campfires since he doesn't know any magic, so he thought of something where he could get both of those things he needs on one place. He was going to the local pet lady; Calypso.
He goes up to the orange quad and demands that he needs an ori and a runeboo to use for travel, and thay he'll use his ring he got from Big Mama to pay for the 'things' he needs. Calypso, hesitant to show such an untactful gro her pets, shows him in understanding that yes, they will be useful for travel, but she just hopes that he's putting up a cold front and would hopefully CARE for these pets she'll give him.
Genji goes up to the very first Runeboo and Ori he comes across and just tells her "They'll do", not putting any thought into the pets that'll become his new travel partners or even considering their potential nature and individuality.
Calypso gulps at this unusually quick decision for two VERY different animals, she has a bad feeling that he'll only use them as tools and nothing more. But, with a rude gro rushing her to give him the pets he asked for, she caved and gave them to him, but not before mentioning "You know... These pets aren't just items... Make sure to take care of them and--" Genji cut her off "Yeah yeah, whatever." brushing her off and walking away before she can finish her sentimental speech.
She sure hopes that the pets will be okay with this man...
