Description
I'd like to apologise for the size of the image firstly- I know its still very wide when you full view (which I would recommend) but I'm sure you guys won't mind scrolling, right? (Also, the description is stupidly long, sorry!)

So essentially, this image is kind of a glorified colourbar.
I knew that really, I'm never going to finish my colour series now. I just don't want to any more. So I made 12 individual images of the Silverstar Collective and put them together so their colours make a rainbow.
I chose a dark brown for the background because the black looked too harsh in contrast against all the colours.

So from left to right-

~Kaikou- Here, the pink splatters and the white stars in the background make me think of blood sprinkled with fairy dust. His scarf thingy gradients purple to pink and if you look at his left shoulder, you can just make out it starting to change to a different purple. His eyes look pinker here than the red-brown they're supposed to be, but I like it.

~Hotaru- The way I coloured her hair makes it look a lot more blonde than it is, because of the yellow highlights. She's a redhead really! Her paper image is slightly crinkly because of the red ink I used. I really like her pose, it's so cheeky.

~Lain- It's entirely possible that I drew his ears too big, but let's pretend I meant it Cutting around his hair was an absolute bitch, because of all the little gaps in it and the shapes made it really awkward. But I do like the wild, untamed look his hair has, I hope it was worth it.
His background is supposed to be two clock cogs and the circle over them has twelve points on it, like a clock face.

~Kasai- It must've taken me three attempts or so to get his pose to look how I wanted it to just because it just wasn't working. Even now, I just realised his neck isn't thick enough, but never mind. Here, he's pulling off the 'angry little bastard' look

~Misora- I had to rescan Misora cus when I scanned her first time, she slipped halfway off the scan bed and it only scanned as far down as just below her elbow. I think her earrings are really cute. Don't worry. Unlike Kasai, she'snot going to punch you. I think she's supposed to be running.

~Kuuro- I changed some of the colours on Kuuro's outfit to brown to contrast all the green a bit. I liked it all green, but it was perhaps a bit overkill. A big thank you to ~Laurenza for helping with the change. His pose is supposed to be him leaning against a tree. He's most likely talking to it, too. Yes, he talks to trees.

~Kisaki- I actually changed her hair colour to teal to make it fit better into the colourbar and you know, I'm going to leave it like that. I like it much better than the dark blue it was. I fully appreciate she has too much makeup on- she's supposed to.

~Suihou- It didn't come out very well, but her sleeve is supposed to be translucent, which is why her arm is sort of off-blue. Also, one of these days I decide if that jacket does up with the bow of the ribbon at the top or bottom. I seem to change it every time I draw Suihou..

~Ryuu- Look, he doesn't have long hair this time. Okay, so its still long-ish, but not as long as it was. It was really hard to match a crayon colour for his shirt and I'm still not sure its a very good match. But it's fairly close.
His background is supposed to be ice crystals. I like the redesign of his spear, its like a jewelled, pointy Fleur-de-Lis.

~Arumi- I gave him the small ponytail at the back on a whim- I had a sketch of him with it and I thought it looked kind of cool, so he has it this time, too. Do you like it?
I do, I think beforehand his hair was too much like Kasai's, just black and purple rather than blonde. I like how he looks like he's staring into space.

~Aurora- Poor Aurora, I hardly ever draw her, but at least you can see the front of her outfit this time, too. Her eyes are supposed to be a sort of delicate pinkish colour and her glove-things are Lain's, only just black. I like her hair colour very much.
There's an element of surreality to her background- the sun is streaming through the clouds, yet you can see the moon in the sky.

~Tsuki- And finally, Tsuki brings us full circle as she has the same colours as her brother, Kaikou. That's a beauty mark on her cheek above her lip. I added it in by accident by dropping my pencil and I thought it suited her, so I left it.
I also gave her a wavy fringe. She had it like that to start with, long ago when I first designed her. Then I changed it to be straight. Now I feel its time to change it back. What do you think?

And oh my, I think I win the prize for the Longest Description Ever I know people will just skip it, but I had something to say about each individual image..

*Time Taken- About an hour for each individual character, then about two hours to scan and piece together the final image (and fight with Photoshop to get the filesize to be decent without losing too much detail)

*Media- Cue-cards, coloured paper, ink, crayon, gel pens and Photoshop for scanning and piecing the image together.

~Each character was drawn on a 3x5 inch cue-card, coloured in with Crayola crayons then cut out and stuck onto a background created by collaging coloured papers.
~Inks were used for the splatter effects and various things in backgrounds. Gratuitous amounts of white were used, as well as some red, green and purple.
~A star press-cutter was used to make the stars for Tsuki's background.
~Glittery gel pens to draw the symbols in the top left corners. The glitter didn't really show up, but that's okay.
