I watched the entirety of the Rurouni Kenshin series recently, and LOVED it. Kenshin has to be one of my favorite characters ever. And, in my opinion, he had his hair down far too little in the series or the movies. Thus, in my fanart, it is down

This is very much my own version of Kenshin. A friend pointed out to me that his eyes aren't quite right, and they're not - at least, they're not quite like the manga, anime, or movies, but I like them. And his hair isn't as poofy as usual, but I sleeked him up a bit. His feet are also missing, but I didn't see much point in drawing them because they'll be hidden behind grass when this is colored. All that fuzzy stuff in the background is the indications of trees and such that will be in the colored version, whenever I get it done. It's going to be really pretty, I hope, with cherry trees in the background, late evening when the fireflies are coming out, and a few cherry blossoms are floating in the air...all of which will make my brain hurt when I actually gc it, I'm sure...
