Supposedly our sunset is supposed to be red and pretty this evening due to the cloud of ash floating above the UK...but...I'm not so certain, this doesn't look too out of the ordinary...does it?

The rush of autumn colours Spreads the sky like scattered sands And the gentle green of the grass is confused As the curvacious curves of the clouds Whisper gently above Tempting, teasing The colours of love and romancing

Very dramatic, but composition needs balancing with sun off centre and something near the edge. Still good tho.

Definitely different from the sunsets I see. Normally it's more than just red but this is absolutely lovely

It's perhaps a little too red for an English sunset, but hey: Red sky at night, shepherd's delight, so I'm not complaining
Plus: it's a seriously gorgeous photo so who cares if the subject matter's a little out-of-the-ordinary?

It's pretty cool.
It's not as red as my first sunset I posted... and I did nothing to the colours or anything for that one.. don't even know how I could have achieved the shot.
This one is more orange... well, for me, anyway.
Still an awesome photo, nevertheless. It's a slight shame it's a bit unbalanced in terms of angles.

I don't know if you would class it as red, as such. =/
It felt a bit slanted, but that might just be me. My laptop is balanced on two shoe boxes and an Argos catalogue.
