Before anybody gets their stuff in a bunch, this pic is purely meant to be a joke. Heck, I'm sort of poking fun at my younger self. XD

While I was drawing this pic, I kind of figured that If the characters had thoughts of their own, they'd be tired of being randomly stuck together, regardless of gender and/or age, in some picture or probably badly written fanfic (don't get me wrong, I have seen very few good ones, but I stay away from it now).

So, what do they do? They run. In the case of Sonic, he runs away crying. Amy Rose and Shadow? They fight back.
Either way, I figured here they'd want to get away for a change.

So yeah, I'm poking fun at the idea. In fact, I've kept the "Knuckles x Master Emerald" thing as a running gag.
