And here we have pointy-ears. Yes.
His face looks like a mix of being slightly amused about something, maybe even mocking, and some "I just got up from bed and looking for what the day may bring". But the latter is probably due to his comfy robe that reminds me of the "Morgenmantel / Bademantel" ("morning gown / bathrobe" ?*). And astonishing what you can achieve even with pure greyscale images.
