Description
Featuring Caliber
Actaeos's Shrine, Linx Territory
Late Autumn, 2000
Continuing his climb up the peak, Caliber's nerves were frayed. He had not been here very often as of the last couple of years - the search for the totems had been of a higher priority than even coming up here for quiet reflection.
Caliber took the last few steps to the shrine and bowed reverently as he laid out the sack full of his offerings.
"Actaeos, I know you're likely busy preparing yourself for whatever Astraek is planning to bring upon us, but I beg you for guidance." He said, keeping his voice quiet. "I found a totem, but ultimately didn't recover one of the stones. I was fairly disappointed, but it was certainly an experience that I don't regret. What I ask... Am I on the right track, with my plans to spend the winter outside of the territory on the lookout for whatever I can find? Or am I being foolhardy?" The bjorn sighed, feeling his breath fog in the cold. "I seem to be fretting far more nowadays, but it feels like so much more is at stake than it was when my parents brought me up here as a pup to teach me how to pray."
He paused, and then touched a paw with his snout, leaning deeper into the bow. "Actaeos, please take these offerings, and help guide our pack.. no, all of Anomalous, through this oncoming storm."
