I'm DONE. FINALLY.

50 layers. And I'm finally done. And... I feel motion sick for some reason. x_x;;

Not much to really say about this picture, aside from the fact it took over 12 hours (mnep, not long for some pictures I've seen, but bloody well long ebough for me) and that the colouring was done almost completely dodge/burn. For each area of the picture, I layed down one base colour, then dodged/burned the hell out of it till I got the right tones I wanted. The only item in it that used more than one colour was the wings, but that was because dodging/burning white is kinda useless unless you want icky brown shadows rather than pretty blue one, yes?

As for the subject, 'tis Fayt from Star Ocean 3 (or "Till the End of Time"). Err... I guess my interpretation of the attack Ethereal Blast. Which IMHO is one of the prettiest attacks (and FMVs... *cough*) I've seen, so... yeah.

And I forgot his sword. ><; I realized that AFTER I scanned and started colouring it. Oh well.
