In Moon, Litten for sure. If for some reason I change my mind last minute, I'll go for Poplio because he seems the least popular. Rowlet will be the starter in Sun for me as of right now though; I plan on getting both games simultaneously when the release date gets much closer. It's due to be released Nov 18th - 5 months from now. Ah. It's gonna be a painfully long wait. All the starters this time around are freakin' adorable and it'll be hard choosing just one.
I hope the Shiny versions will be good and worth hatching; I want a Shiny Litten or Rowlet as they seem to hold promise on an good alternate color scheme as Shinies. Poplio might, but Water types are usually rather plain/single color changes with the exception of Staryu/Starmie and a couple of others. In fact, I think that'd be a cool idea if Rowlet's final evolution increases the likelihood of hatching Shinies of the Flying type variety. I seriously don't think they'll ever do anything like that, but it would be kind of cool if there were certain Okemos that increased the chances on all the various (dominant) types.
