Well
my first real painting of a person I guess =7=
and I really like how it came out.
Even though the bowtie on her head looks kinda messy. I'm still practicing shaddap

Elegant to the max. ;u; This is very good for a first paint effort - loving the serenity coming through in her body language, attire, and symmetry, as well as the cool colours. Your Koishis always end up with the best dresses. And yeah, do yourself a favour and big-palette it next time!

And a 4 to 6 hours well spent!
The composition here is very solid, almost rock-like (a pun on her name if you will), yet soft and sweet as well. The texture is rough, but the colors and how they blend are warm, basically. A very intelligent choice of coloring, I must say. Also, the way you managed a soft glow effect around her is also well done - most definitely adds to what you're trying to convey here.
I'm rather interested in how your choice of clothes for her resembles 1890's Britain (or perhaps all of Europe too?). Though I must say it does match for someone of her solidarity, not just in style but in her character. Again, an intelligent and validated choice of detail, which I must say is consistent and delicate throughout.
My only qualm, if noticeable at all, is the placement of her hat. It seems like it's levitating a little atop her head. To be perfectly "realistic" and an ass that I am, it should fall a little lower. But of course, this is a mere adjustment that, in fact, might not be necessary. Because the way this composition, levitating-hat included, may carry meaning better as it is.
