A drawing I did over this past weekend. I'm happy with how it turned out... I do recognize a few mistakes, though :/
But, oh well! I tried my best

Persephone is a figure in Greek Mythology. She was the daughter of Demeter, Goddess of Harvest and Fertility. Persephone was abducted by Hades and made Queen of the Underworld. Due to Zeus's anger at his daughter's abduction- and the fact that Persephone had consumed food offered to her by Hades, condemning her permanently to the Underworld- Hades and Zeus decided on a deal. For about half of a year, Persephone would reside in the Heavens, but for the next half, she would be forced to stay in the Underworld with Hades.
Basically, this myth describes how fall and winter came to be. Well.... I just sounded like a total nerd there, but I've always been interested in this stuff ;]

This didn't turn out exactly how I wanted it, so I may try a new one, but nonetheless, leave your nice feedback
