Tre Cool, everyone!I don't think I need to say much more... This is a pretty quick digital painting I did in Photoshop.
EDIT: when I saved this as a .jpg it did something weird with the shading on the dark side of his face... I adjusted it a little on the .jpg... works more like it's supposed to now...
OH GOD, since I was so half asleep when I posted this... I forgot to mention that this is for my lovely friend Jenny...
It's her Birthday this week!

First of all you did an amazing job on the shading... I mean, this is amazing!
The lips.... just wow, your use of color and shading just brings them to life.
And the hair... it has texture to it and that's hard to create sometimes.
Finally the eyes, the one in the back is shaded out perfectly, in my opinion. And the one that you can see.. I don't even know how to explain it. Its so life-life and beautiful...
All together a exquisite job! I'm sure your friend will love this!

I was just gonna ask, was this done in Painter, but I see that it's Photoshop. Very well done! This is the style I would like to learn. I especially love the eye!
