Description So as I've been getting further in Lady of the Sea and starting to really solidify the timeline I'm going with for my Greek myth stories, I've occasionally been doing some research on more obscure characters from myth. This is so I can be as accurate as possible or just take creative liberty and streamline the family members of the characters who take precedent in my writing. Though, regardless of whether or not they actually play significant roles in the stories, you can bet I'll definitely play around with dressup doll stuff and give them a spotlight here.

So here we have Phoebe and Hilaeira, daughters of Inachus and princesses of Messenia. While originally betrothed to Idas and Lynceus, sons of Aphareus, the sisters caught the eye (or rather eyes) of the brothers Castor and Pollux who decided to carry them off to Sparta and married them. Phoebe married Pollux and had a son named Mnesileos while Hilaeira married Castor and with him had a son named Anaxis. While Castor and Pollux did have the same mother, they came from different fathers. Castor was the mortal son of Tyndaerus (King of Sparta) while Pollux was the demigod son of Zeus.

Since I've been getting a lot of people not seeming to understand that these dressup doll things are CLEARLY not my own work and are in fact linked to the dressup games I am using to create my character visuals, I am now going to have to state in all my descriptions that these are DRESSUP DOLL GAMES, NOT MY OWN WORK so I can stop having people constantly message me things like "your art style is so great" because they can't be bothered to click a damn link or look at the tags. And now, for the aforementioned link: Azalea Dolls Goddess Maker

I only found out myself when I began looking into them to figure out why they weren't at Troy. Found out stealing their wives started a family feud that eventually got them killed shortly before all the Greek kings sailed off to war.

Thanks! It was interesting playing around with colors for these two.

True, but they shared immortality, so not all bad
