I once was at a poutine festival, and the best poutine ever was from this one food truck that was literally a double decker bus, the serving area on the bottom and seats to eat at on the top.
It was amazing

I'm actually only aware of Vancouver and Ottawa having double deckers, and maybe Montreal or Quebec City?

I wish I'd be Canadian too... Canada is so cool ;_; Polish Indepedence Day (11.11) is... kind of depresing. Of course I like this feast (is this word fine?) and I know its meaning for my country but it's sad and I often cry a little : / The firewors would be in a bad taste. I don't know how it exactly looks in Canada (I'm so sorry, I didn't read description under prev art, it was too long for my oh-no-i-can't-read-english mind, I'm really sorry) but... You have fireworks ;_; And a lot of arts are in a happy mood. It says me a lots. I don't know. I just wanted to say something more than "Oh, cool art", but maybe this speach wasn't a good idea ^ ^'

Yes, Canada Day is a celebration! (At least for most people, as there are some conflicting views surrounding the idea of colonialism and stuff,) but for all intents and purposes, it's one big party!
In my town, there's a huge parade with awesome floats, then there's a farmer's market and party with bouncy castles and games, and there was a Powwow, music, festivities, the whole works! My town went and bought like 30 red and white cakes, and everyone got a piece! Later in the night, around 11 p.m. (when it finally gets dark haha), there are fireworks! Everyone comes and lays in the grass, watching them over the river.
And my town only has 8000 people! Cities go all-out, and it's always a wonderful time!
It's really a magical day, as people of all races, ethnicities, origins, beliefs, political allegiances, everything, all come together and celebrate their love for this nation and how far it's come. That's why Canada Day will always be my favourite day of the year!
One day, if you have the chance, you should come and visit for July 1st! I'm sure you would not be disappointed!
