Now featuring the cute crew mascot, ~renealexa-diary 's Rai!

So in the comments on this pic: =TenshiNoFuu and I decided that we wanted to make a 2nd-generation pirate crew out of our crack!kids. The idea snowballed, and these guys here are what resulted.

From left: Rai --> Marcel --> Tharaman --> Laura --> Iyo --> Ryo&Leo (not sold separately) --> Griffin --> Yulian

Ryo, Leo and Iyo belong to Fuu - they're the crack!kids of her AcexFuu pairing. TharaMarcel and Laura are the crack!kids of my MarcoxLoki pairing, and Holly Griffin is the non-crack son of Thatch and my OC Holly Kestrel. (He actually exists in the Roofies timeline, he's about eight when Thatch dies. D: ) Yulian sorta belongs to both of us, and is the daughter of Izou. Rai is the son of Rene's LuffyxRene pairing, several years younger than the others

♣ Something of a story:
Portgas D. Iyo decided at a young age that only having Pirate Kings was boring, so she decided that she'd set out to make herself the first Pirate Queen. Her brothers wouldn't let her out of their sight, so she press-ganged them into her crew to compromise. Laura joined 'cause Laura always gets her way, and became first mate because someone sane needs to look after Iyo (and the boys don't exactly fill that role too well). With Laura came Laura's older brothers - Marcel joined because Marcel never misses out on an interesting gig, and Tharaman joined because Tharaman secretly has a ginormous crush on Iyo... Then Griffin joined because Marcel did (he's total bffs with Marcel), and Yulian joined because Griffin, Marcel and the RyoLeo twins are 99% of her patients, and as a doctor she just couldn't leave them as they were, they'd get themselves killed in no time. Rai was the last to join, convinced by his dad to go out to sea and ending up being adopted into the crew~

♣ Captain: Portgas D. Iyo
Age: 17
Hair: Reddish-brown
Eyes: Warm grey
Theme Colours: Grey, White
Calm, my-pace, possesses the power of supreme obliviousness which no mere mortal can stand up to. Heavily influenced by her uncle Luffy's stories while growing up, she decided on a whim to become the first Pirate Queen, and it never occurred to her to back down on it. She leads by the sheer force of her dreams.
• Wields Haoushoku Haki and martial arts in battle

♣ First Mate: Laura
Age: 17
Hair: Currently platinum blonde, often dyes it red or brown
Eyes: Deep blue
Theme Colours: Blue, Purple
Possessive, blunt and demanding, Laura tends to get whatever she wants. She is skilled in handling all manner of weapons, but is most deadly with the sharp edge of her tongue. She doesn't like to let on that she has a romantic heart, and just occasionally she is capable of surprising kindness and warmth. Acts the 'bad cop' to Iyo's 'good cop', and has a lot of fun doing so. Has a bit of a father complex, and tends to get even more demanding and loud whenever Marco is around...
• Wields a Bear Island glaive, Kenbunshoku Haki and brawling tricks in battle

♣ Bosun: Holly Griffin
Age: 27
Hair: Dark auburn
Eyes: Deep purple
Theme Colours: Dark Copper, Purple, Gold
Easygoing and wicked, Griffin was already an experienced pirate before he joined Iyo's crew. The oldest of the crew by far, but also one of the silliest, he and Marcel play off each other's craziness and often become quite a force to be reckoned with. He is the one all the others go to with questions about piracy - and when he doesn't know the answer he tends to make it up. Rai, Iyo and the RyoLeo twins often believe him, but Marcel knows him far too well for that~
• Wields a large-calibre rifle and many hidden knives, also a skilled brawler and wielder of the Ancient Zoan: Saber-Toothed Cat model Devil Fruit [See smilodon populator]

♣ Navigator: Marcel
Age: 19
Hair: Honey-blonde
Eyes: Pale blue
Theme Colours: Dark Blue, Gold, Bronze
A smooth-talking trickster all too willing to use his feminine looks to scam gullible men. Marcel is very affectionate, especially with Griffin (his best friend despite the age difference) and because of this is often mistaken for Griffin's girlfriend. He suffers from severe bipolar disorder - on his 'down' days he is often completely bedridden, and storms tend to follow the ship like little ducklings~
• Primarily a brawler, is skilled with plain martial arts and wields a lochaber axe in battle. Also a berserker.

♣ Cooks: Portgas D. Ryo+Leo
Age: 20
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Dark gold
Theme Colours: Yellow, Orange, Brown
Inseparable identical twins, only distinguishable from one another by the earrings they wear. As the self-proclaimed bodyguards of the future Pirate Queen, their dear little sister, they are strident and sharp-tongued in her defence. Charming, manipulative, and somewhat tsundere-ish, but both are good guys deep down~ Their skills in the kitchen are quite something to watch.
• Wield twin scimitars as their main weapons, skilled with blades and martial arts

♣ Quartermaster: Tharaman
Age: 19
Hair: Honey-blonde
Eyes: Pale blue
Theme Colours: White, Yellow, Orange
Calm and restrained, yet antisocial, Tharaman holds very few people in high regard. His crewmates are most of these few. He spends most of his time below decks, keeping track of supplies and repairs the ship needs, and occasionally blowing things up. He has a ginormous crush on Iyo, which at first makes him Undesirable No.1 on Ryo&Leo's blacklist, but Iyo doesn't seem to have noticed so currently he and the twins have an uneasy truce worked out.
• Not much of a fighter, but wields pistols and is a berserker in battle.

♣ Doctor: Yulian
Age: 22
Hair: Black
Eyes: Dark emerald
Theme Colours: Dark Green, Dark Grey
Cool, calm and collected, Yulian is probably the most sensible of the crew. It shows in that she doesn’t try to curb any of the guys’ wilder impulses (a mission doomed to failure, as Laura illustrates). She is the unofficial crew mother, the one to whom everyone goes to for comfort when they need it. She also is often mistaken for a very pretty man, thanks to her preferred style of dress and peculiarly deep voice. Has a thing for scorpions, and keeps a box of them in her quarters.
• Wields senbon and scorpion venom in battle, also an accomplished martial artist

♣ Lookout/Mascot: Monkey D. Rai
Age: 13
Hair: Dark brown
Eyes: Red
Theme Colours: Red, Yellow, Black
The youngest member of the crew, whom everyone has a ginormous soft spot for. A quiet boy who loves to do his own thing, he can often be found sitting in the crow's nest and staring out over the ocean. His dream is to defeat Iyo and prove to himself that he has the right to wear his dad's straw hat. Marcel is ostensibly his best friend, in that he annoys Rai a whole lot but somehow they're always hanging around each other. Rai only officially joined the crew much later, when he was 17...
• Uses hand-to-hand combat in a fight, also wielder of the Logia-type Devil Fruit Kiri-Kiri no Mi (mist)
