This is a tattoo design I made for myself, hence the watermark.

I've been drawn to owls, owl accessories, and patterns on clothes and such for years now despite failing to see one in real life. Nothing in particular triggered it, but it's caught my attention, and my need for an owl tattoo has been enormous ever since.
There have been many times I've attempted to design one with no success, until last week. This is the result.

The compass on the chest depicts owls being described as guides to the subconcious mind and beyond when discussed as spirit animals. They help you cope with changes in your life, and enourage you to trust your gut feeling, intuition and to look beyond the obvious.
