This picture is for my childhood. It was the first cartoon that made me want to learn how to draw anime style and wake up at 6 AM on Saturday mornings to sing along to the theme song. I remember my parents buying the first movie on VHS when it came out because I had been a good kid that day. My older sister bought me this toy when I was little too ; [link]
It's been a long time since I've visited my childhood. So much nostaligia. This was a lot of fun to draw. These guys are the first generation shown in the second generation - basically my age - I've literately aged with these characters.
I would have coloured this but my scanner is stupid and my tablet is kinda sorta a total complete bumwipe right now. /End rant.
I like Digimon. Deal with it.

Though to be honest I missed more than half the episodes as a kid so I had to watch it all a couple a years ago just to figure out the entire plot. Still loved it

Digimon was one of my favorite shows growing up as well, and it was so nice to run across this group shot!

Anyone else thought it was better when there was like 6-8 main characters? That's what made me love the first 2 generations, the variety of different characters, there was a favorite for everyone. I mean, love them all(4th gen was my fav), but it felt longer with more people.

I loved the original, and tried to color it myself, but I gave up. I'm really glad somebody stepped up and did it though! And I have to say, the more natural colors, mainly their hair really makes this different in a great way!
