It reminds me of the story about when the fear came to the jungle (second jungle book) and that whole thing of the tiger having one day in wich he could kill men.

Kipling art = LOVE. SO MUCH LOVE.

This picture is great. I love all the details, you keep seeing more the longer you look. Would've been much more depressing if you'd added the last two lines (heck, it probly would be a different picture altogether...), not that that would be a good thing! I like it the way it is ^__^

i love the image, and i love the association between the poem and the image.

"tiger! tiger!". shere-khan leaves the jungle to drink.

The details on this piece are amazing. The illustration captures and holds one's attention. The tiger leaving the confines/security of the jungle could be interpreted as the hunter going venturing outside his home territory for it is barren and it could be also looked upon as social commentary of how we are driving the natural habitat out of their envirnment.

Drawen to your gallery thanks to your feature - congratulations, your work deserves it.
This image caught my eye for many reasons. I love the way you've managed to convay a jungle without colour, very skilled. Also the tiger heading out into the open gives me a sense of transformation, of leaving something behind or moving on. +favourite

ugh, I must fav. Must! This is so overlooked.

Looks like lot of effort went into this. It's a shame we can't all see it at a larger size, to better explore all the detail.

... powerful illustration, it evokes so many emotions... your reduction of line is deceptive, as I can only guess how long it took to really plan this composition out, a gorgeous sensuous piece you should be proud of...

The picture looks very interesting, but for some reason I can't view the large picture! Nevertheless, I think the small one looks great!
