hmm...does it have a GBA slot so i can play my older pokemon games on it?

currently all pokemon games can be played on a DS right?
do you think future pokemon games will come out for the DS or move over to the 3ds
apparently there will be a 3ds online store where you can download older games that offically opens up sometime in May, i wonder if all the pokemon games will be up for download (i guess that wasn't a question :3)

well, the first question, no, the slot isnt made to support gba games, only ds and 3ds games.

the third, no, you cant play all... you cant play gba games, so you cant play neither of the first, second, and third generation games. but this has a fix, see below.
Yes, future games will come for the 3ds only, its only natural, new console, new games, they were even thinking of releasing black n white for the 3ds, but the release date was too far from the 3ds', so they left it that way.
Yes, there will be a 3ds online store where "probably" You will be able to download old gba games, including pokemon. but im not really sure of that, but eitherway it would be silly not to.
and yeah, you can't catch victini, sucks to be you right now (?)

alrighty i looked it up, you can play GBA games on a DS lite, i guess ill get that for now that way i can play all generations (fire red, soul silver, emerald, platinum, and black (think i missed one)) and some time in the future ill get a 3DS
