A guy that thinks before he speaks, he'd much rather keep quiet and observe rather than acting. As long as he hasn't been bothered, his brain works in perfect sync with whatever is going on around him, taking him to the answers he needs fast enough to be considered a sly character.
He doesn't like flashing his emotions around, which is why he usually keeps a straight face.

He can be easily knocked out of his collected attitude, however, if you pull on the right strings. He can easily lose his temper, and although he still keeps a relatively straight face, the following answers are usually just blurted out without much thinking to them. It is because of this that he'd much rather work alone before being partnered up. Team work was never his forte either way, and it is extremely hard for him to trust others.

He can turn pretty aggressive if taken far enough-- which won't come in handy when the other individual happens to be bigger than him, especially since he tends to talk back a bit too much.
He will always try to contain himself, however, especially when the other person happens to be of a higher rank than he is. He's learned the hard way, but he's now able to keep his mouth shut by biting on his tongue for most occasions.[ s t o r y ]₪ He was never a conformist. Despite his parents' teachings about humility and submission, he could not just settle with being a mere family of fishermen-- not knowing his ancestors had done far greater things, and had lived in far greater areas, with far greater riches.
He liked gold. He liked money. He liked being able to have a nice meal that did not consist of fish, and above all, he liked the pleased look on his parents' faces whenever he came back carrying something nice for them.
They didn't know, of course, the way he was getting both the money and fruit he ate in the way was by stealing.

His favorite spot was always the marketplace. He'd wander off after helping setting up his father's stall and laying out their goods, wandering off to pick-pocket from whoever looked richest, stealing a few apples and pears, amongst other things. He was caught quite a couple of times, earning him lashings that left permanent scars on his back-- but he always managed to conceal both the pain and the wounds when in front of his family.
It soon turned into part of his daily routine.
... And his greed grew.

Unable to settle for wallets and a couple of fruit, his soul seeked more, and more-- driving him to despair. Taking the family's sword with him [and leaving his family behind in the process], he did many things he'd now say he regrets. Joining up with other thieves, breaking into households-- hurting, and sometimes even witnessing the murdering people out of nothing but his desire for more.
... Until he was caught.

And upon his offenses, and his own country's laws, it was ordered that his hands were cut off.

₪ The time he spend tied up in the desert before justice was carried out was a time that shaped the man he is today. Perhaps it was the heat, or maybe it was nothing but the fear of having to live without his hands to aid him-- but he realized just how low he'd fallen, and regret filled his heart.

... A second chance was offered to him, however.
In the shape of a foreigner whom he'd initially thought was nothing but an illusion under the desert's heat, he was offered to join an organization that looked for people like him-- and if he accepted, they'd take him before punishment was ensued.

It didn't take longer than a couple of minutes for him to agree.

₪ It took him a while to get used to the language, but he had always been smart-- being able to learn in inside out in just a matter of months.
He's not exactly proud of what he does, nor of the greed that still lives inside him-- but he believes he's been given this second chance for a reason, and he will make the most of it.
Come what may.
[ o t h e r ]₪ A swordsman, he brought his family's Kampilan with him. The sword itself has a story, being taken into his family after an ancient war and then passed down through generations, which is why it has deep emotional and spiritual meaning.
₪ Whenever his missions involve killing, he will always stay behind for a moment to mourn the dead, be it from his or the opposing side.
₪ Has mastered English but has a bit of an accent when he speaks.
₪ Knows he likes men, but has avoided getting involved with any since he sees it more as a disgrace due to the way he was raised and taught.
₪ Tends to decide whether to trust you or not by looking into your eyes. His judgement has not failed him yet.
₪ Just in case anything were to happen, he always carries a small dagger with him, especially for cases in which he's not allowed to carry his Kampilan-- or if the latter is taken from him.
₪ Light on his feet and pretty agile thanks to his pick-pocketing past and fox-like nature. It is hard to lay eyes on him when he's on stealth mode-- though he can be easily distracted if spoken to.
₪ Can defend himself when it comes to hand-to-hand combat, but he's much better at running away when the situation develops to that point.
₪ Even though he greatly dislikes fish, he's still seen eating it often. This is mainly due to the fact that most of his money goes towards his family's little business-- and in order to give them the money in an honest manner, he ends up buying endless stocks of it.
₪ Family consists of Father, Mother, and two younger sisters.
