Reiatsu: When Desturora is in Shikai and Bankai her reiatsu power flashes constantly, the stronger she gets the more rapid the power surges up and down. When she’s not in either Shikai or Bankai it is steady and beats like a heartbeat. This is what people feel when they sense her. If she is in battle and has not yet gone into either of those it feels like a rapid heartbeat.

Appearance: Desturora is a short, muscled woman with an attitude to kill. Her outfit holds many different colors and her feathers represent her air element. She has a light brown skin tone. White markings on her upper arms, right shoulder, and face represent her nationality and heritage.
Her hair takes on a light caramel color that has four white streaks in it. It is styled to the right, her bangs moving up in slight curls while one large curl is pulled over her right shoulder and held in place in the back by a hair pin.
Desturora’s eyes are pupil-less and purple.
Personality: Desturora is a silent but dangerous Captain of the 13th squad, she doesn’t talk on a regular basis and keeps to herself most of the time. She is the most steadfast and resolute of her squad. She is known to ambitious, reserved, determined, relentless, practical and helpful. But Desturora is helpful in her own way which the ways she uses might seem a little unorthodox to many. She is determined to be an excellent leader and organizer, thanks to her focused, concentrated thought process and a responsible attitude.
Though she is a workaholic but is liable to be perceived as cold, detached, stern disciplinarians. She can be negative, suspicious, resentful, inhibited, pessimistic and obstinate, but she is not bad at heart. She is tender inside, and her hard exterior is designed well to help her stay guarded against the hurt and rejection, she so strongly despises.
She is modest, goal-oriented and tends to be aggressive about the tasks on hand. Besides, she is methodical and disciplined who has faith in her strengths and knows her weaknesses as well. She will not build castles in the air, if she set their eyes on something she tries her best to get it. Desturora seeks security, authority and growth, and will not shy away from trying out new things. She is very traditional and strong. She has a dynamic way of dealing with challenges when they appear.
Desturora has a strong sense of equality. She will not only demand respect, but will also treat others with due respect. History: Desturora came from Easter Island, a part of Chile in South America, where she belonged to the islands tribe until the age of 15. She was preset and held prisinor, like all of the other islanders , to their land. They were not allowed to leave or even fish, only allowed to stay on the land they owned. Her, her mother, and brother were all apart of this. When her family died of sickness, she snuck aboard a ship on it’s way to Chile and once in the country, fled, headed for North America where she could somehow be free. When she arrived, she traveled through Texas into Lousiana where she came upon a traveling circus.
There is where she found she had the ability to not only swallow swords but bend in many ways people couldn’t. After just a few months she became a regular at the shows as The Sword Swallowing Contortionist. Her show was called Desturora Destiny and attracted many when they had showings. She felt at home in the carnie family and loved it there. Though she was in The United States, she kept the markings from her tribe on her arms and chose her outfits to resemble her nationality.
Even back then, she was toned out and rather muscular as well as being a rather hard ass. She was stubborn then and it carried over to her afterlife.
She died in Mississippi during a shootout that took place in a local bar.
Once in the Soul Society she learnt things quickly and picked up on things but stayed alone. She never liked people very much so once in the academy she kept to herself and studied. Until she met Valvalis Lionheart, who she thought was an asshole at first but took a liking to and swore to defend him if he ever needed her.
She wasn’t placed with a squad until she achieved Bankai.

Innerworld: Desturora’s innerworld is an abandoned theme park with a dreary sky. Most of the land is overgrown with grass and vines. When she first enters the world, she automatically goes to a torn up carnival tent with abandoned equipment. Up in the old swinging hoops is where her demented personified zanpakuto resides.

Air Manipulaton
User can create, shape and manipulate air. Since air cannot be seen by conventional methods, neither can the attacks and derivatives formed by/from it, making it an invisible and versatile weapon that is very difficult to block and dodge.

-Create/generate/increase, shape and manipulate air and all forms of wind from tornadoes, hurricanes, vertical drafts, micro-bursts and other devastating forms of wind. Naturally can also create any less extreme air/wind movement.
-Air Attacks
-Air Solidification, Density Manipulation, and Pressure Manipulation via controlling air molecules.
-Crushing by increasing air pressure.
Faults:
-Ineffective in a vacuum: atmosphere must be present. Variations in air-pressure may complicate things for beginners.
-May be weak against Fire Manipulation, as fire is fueled by the oxygen in the air, thus making the flames stronger.
-Higher level Electricity Manipulation users can use electrons to detonate the various compound molecules within the air, overwhelming the user.
Razor Wind
The user is able to use air itself to slice objects, focusing a current of wind, or in some cases sound, to the point where it takes on a sharp edge which the caster launches at foes. Although this attack does usually slashing damage, it can be used as a single piercing stab like immaterial bullet. Note that while the attack is generally performed by slashing the air, skilled users could be able to perform it in water or stabbing ground and releasing attack through those elements.

-Increase the range of a bladed weapon.

-Highly skilled Martial Artists may be able to use similar attack with their bare hands or legs.

-Create/generate/increase, shape and manipulate smoke in various ways.
-Create smoke screens for cover to escape one's foes.
-Clear smoke from an area, clearing one's vision and air.
-Move/lift smoke at nearly any speed whether in/on surface, air or water.
Faults:
-Users that uses thermal vision can see through the smoke and spot the user.
-Her mind get’s confused at times with trying to use both wind and smoke, they sometimes cancel each other out.
-Can be overpowered by gas manipulation.
Enhanced Breath
The user can exhale gale-force winds or inhale air in order to generate a vortex of wind, can range from exhalation on par with gale force winds to inhalation on par the power of a gravitational vortex. The user’s lungs are largely expansive and will take a long time to expire.

-Demolition: Forcing structures to fall over by blowing them down.
-Icing: Blowing hard enough to push all the hot air out of an area, putting out fires or freezing water.
-Inhale: Breathing in deeply brings objects closer to the user.

-User may be unable to create accurate illusions, such as making things that don't exist or situations that would never happen in a million years. One common mistake is misplacing a feature on a person, or forgetting to add shadows to their forms.

Combat personality: Desturora is a very smart and powerful person but she has to have a plan to fight someone. She will not just jump into battle without thinking things through even if a battle is forced upon her she will get injured a few times until she figures out a plan. However, she loves the battlefield. Which is why she was chosen to be Captain of the 11th squad. She doesn’t talk in battle but tends to smile a lot and show more emotion while in battle.
Even if outnumbered, she would like to take on her opponents, the people who challenge her, by herself.
