He is NOT depressed by his condition, which is an inspiration to me.
I WISH I dwelled less on MY misfortunes.
Way to go Keon, you are a WINNER in my book.

Sometimes, I find people should take after animals more then other humans.

Think of it this way...
When I was a kid, Keon would have been "put to sleep".
There was no such thing as a wheelchair for a dog.
These days there are more people who will work harder and pay higher bills to help their animal friends alive and happy.
I think anybody with a heart would call that progress.

Oh yes, that is definitely progress. And I saw that it isn't putting him down so I guess it shouldn't me. Beautiful dog btw. Absolutely gorgeous! I have a husky/shepherd mix (at least thats what we think she is)so one day I hope to get a purebred!

I don't blame you. Keon is an inspiration. My huskey mix is an inspiration in our home. He's the companion and untrained therapy dog to my handicapped mother. I don't think we could go on in a day without his happiness in the home. Even on the most depressed days my mother has he's her light and joy where no other male could ever be.

I haven't seen Keon or Cooper for about a year, they're living somewhere else now.
There are new puppies, to replace old friends, but it's still not the same.

Oh I know that one. We have had many replaced but their always in our hearts even when their gone.

I miss him.
He no longer lives in this neighbourhood, so I don't see him.
Not that I'm not happy with the lovely doggy friends I still have, but Keon is special to me.
He's an inspiration.
