Shintaro and Kido are the most popular characters in both the western and the japanese fandom i wonder why
ah Momo isn't popular probably because she isn't as tragic as the others?
Kido is popular because he's a two faced character (a "Steford Smiler") which makes him interesting
and shintaro is a geeknerd like many of the fans and he has a sad story and is shipped a lot with Ayano so him popularity is normal
Kido is also awesome ah
all the characters are really original and interesting design and story-wise in my opinion really

well Takane Enemoto (when ene was human) knew a boy name Haruka (who she had a crush on) who eventually gets turned into Konoha (by Ayano's father who use to be their teacher) When Ene and Konoha use to be human they both had illness, Ene use to pass out for no reason and Konoha was rather weak and was sort of at risk of dying from the slightest thing.

also,In Lost Time Memory,Ayano and Shintaro can time travel to the future and the past respectivly...? (i read an awesome theory about this it made a lot of sense)

my thought is alot of the death stuff is the route X things like everyone just turns up dead and there is nothing that can be done about it. But i think lost time memory is supposed to show Azami helping shintaro to pretty much time travel and fix it (like maybe that is his eye ability, or perhaps it is ayano's eye ability as well) I also thought Ayano might have like a universe eye ability like she can travel to other dimensions or something
Or Jin could just be messing with us and everyone is just dead and stuck i a loop. T_T i'd be so pissed for that one.

theory is that
there are two shintaros in LTM
at the beginning there's red shintaro that says that he misses the past but grew past it and indulged himself in life (joined the gang) on august 15
while black shintaro (route x,also in august 15) says that he misses the past too but want to have "an endless dream" and "keep yesterday's pace" and we see Azami and imagery that suggests he's going back in time to relive the past because he doesn't accept ayano's death
then there's the black-haired konoha event in which he points a gun at his head that i have no idea how to interpret i didn't understand a thing of that,is red shintaro now dead and the one we see everywhere is black shintaro?
I think Ayano can travel forward in time
and she did so while the two other shintaros were going back n the past and the three meet
black miserable shintaro tells her to not leave him
while red smiles because he accepted the fact that she died (and they both smile)
but what sorcery did she practice to give him the scarf i mean-
and we see black in his bed his eyes slowly fading to normal and it's august 15
so
the question is :
Is Shintaro dead?
How the scarf
Is his ability really time travel? (along with Ayano)
where's black shintaro's place in the rest of the story?
my theory is that red shintaro gets killed by taking the bullet in the future
and at the end black shintaro that saw an alternate timeline version of him living a normal life will become the shintaro we all know and love (will join the gang and move past ayano's death)

In lost time memory i was seeing it more as in the two paths he could take, one end with him being "killed" (maybe ultimately this saves everyone else) But this is also the one that has moved on.
Then there is the darker path in which he never leaves his room (i think this is also the same shintaro referenced in artificial enemy. Ene makes reference to leaving him alone if i remember correctly so he could be with someone.) it could be that the route X shintaro does end up replacing the other shintaro or their paths cross though

I love the manga so far, It's really good. I have been trying to avoid the wiki some to keep spoilers away lol but i also have a fan page liked on my fb so they kind spoiled stuff here and there for me. But the art is great in it and it's pretty funny.
