Chinese New Year this year was rather gloomy due to the bad weather. I missed the bright, happy colours I'm used to, so I knew I wanted some in this image. :3
For those curious about the comic itself, RPC has almost half of its comic pages roughed out now. yay!
For the record, yes it's late for this year's Lunar New Year, but I was ill with the flu and couldn't complete it in time.

The colours here are awesome. The green really stands out and makes the reds so much more vibrant! I love all the details you put in and the colours you use! Its awesome :3

Unfortunately, no. It won't be a free comic (considering the time that's going into making it and such). It'll only be available in printed format (but for sale online to, however).

Chinese new year is always fun; my family's best friends have a little adopted Chinese girl so they always celebrate it. And Chinatown is a blast too! One year one of my favorite shopkeepers gave me three toy pigs with chocolate inside. ^_^
