Sonic saves Shadow this time...yay!A quick painting done in PS Elements.
I was going to repaint the whole thing again but not sure I will get round to it and since I like this part of it I decided to crop it down.

Or is this an alternate ending from the final episode in Sonic X? As I recall, Shadow knocked Sonic out of the way so he could use Chaos Control to move the planet egg away. Shadow almost died then too (turns out he didn't anyway).

I do wish that were the case in SA2 (May do an Alternate Ending on that). If that did happen, this makes me wonder, would Sonic and Shadow be closer toward a friendship then what they are now?

I'm really loving the whole painting-look -- the colors are just beautiful. And I'm one of those people who likes Sonic and Shadow as allies, so this is fantastic.

Hehe none taken and no, not really.... Super Sonic is just saving Shadow from falling to his doom. But since I cut the full picture down to this, I can see why you might think so.
