Flying fish! A remake of a picture I did earlier ([link] ) that really disliked. However, some people seemed to like it, and I was quite fond of the concept. So I made a new version, that in my opinion is infinitely better so I hope you think so too.

Some of you may have seen =deathofrats 's negative space-watercolours lying on the front page, and they were also inspiration for this. I tried using a similar technique, though getting a quite different result. It was rather tiresome to paint around all those fish and leaves and stuff, but I liked the outcome. Doubtful I'll do it again, at least as a full painting. As a method for backgrounds, maybe.

Ohh, and when we're speaking of flying whales and dolphins, go look at ~Resona-Raille 's gallery. It is awesome.
