Jinbei, Ambassador of the Sea: After the events on Laugh Tale, Jinbe resolved to repair relations between humans and Fishmen by becoming an ambassador for New Fishman Island, built over the remains of the old Fishman Island. Between attending the Reverie, currying favors and forming alliances with neighboring islands, and improving the image of Fishmen, Jinbe has his hands full most of the time. His crew, the New Sun Pirates, assist him in improving human-fishmen relations by protecting islands from pirates and working to combat any threat to the peace they now have. One of the most important alliances he helped forge was with the Revolutionary Army, who after accomplishing their goal in overthrowing the Celestial Dragons, works with him to make the seas free for all, helping protect and protecting any group of people persecuted by powerful forces.
