Thanks for 1,000 Hits!
I'd like to make much more of these in the future ^-^

I'm really proud of this picture, probably one of my best digital pieces to date. I like the composition, I like the expression, and the colors <33 I just love it so much XDDD *narcism* Oh yeah, and that's my new fursona there! Her name is Terrasiel. She need a few minor color teaks, but her design is 95% complete ^^

Anyway, I'd like to thank all the people on my Devwatch list who are constantly inspiring me. If it weren't for you all, I wouldn't be here

Special thanks also goes to , who is my best friend in real life and constant muse. Love youuuu!!!!!!!!

Technical Information:

Media: Adobe Photoshop CS2 / Wacom tablet
(I haven't used my tablet in close to a month! OMG)

[EDIT] Kya! forgot to say this last night! I had help from 's awesome lineless tutorial, which can be found here: [link]
I went and added about a million more layers and decided to keep the lineart on at about 16% opacity in the end, though. XD *fails at lineless*

Aw, the colouring here is so sweet! Is it like... saturated? I dunno but it's really pelasing to the eye.
I think the bg really ties this altogether, too. I't very nice looking!

Blue and brown together are yum.

In a way. Or... you could say "desaturated", even. I added a blue gradient on a new layer on top of the coloring and used a layer mode. I think it was "hard light". Otherwise she'd look too brown and wouldn't blend with the background. :3

Actually I used your newest tutorial to help me with this :3 (Gaaah! I forgot to give credit!!! Edited the description now with a link, though ^^) But then I added like a bajillion more layers to fool around with and then decided not to delete the lineart after all and kept it at like 16% opacity.

Thanks for the comment!

I think it looks quite good with the really light lines. I sometimes leave them there too...
And you're welcome!
