Description
I figured I should have an all-purpose gryphon character on standby for roleplays and the like. 83 So I threw together my favorite bird of prey and a pretty catlike mammal and there we go! Not gonna lie, this ref took me a lot of tries. xD I had to work out exactly what her anatomy was going to look like, then do a couple of poses in it. In the end, I liked these sketches best, so I linearted them and colored them. :3

Also lame wings are lame, I know. I didn't offhand know what the ventral feather pattern of a bearded vulture was, then decided that Aegrell probably does more ground hunting than air hunting anyways (if she hunts at all, given that her bird half is a vulture xD), so a lighter ventral side wouldn't give her any real sort of advantage.

She kind of looks like a badger from the front, which amuses me greatly. :'D
