Here's my latest drawing of Natalie Portman as Padme. It is very loosely based on concept art by Iain McCaig that was suggested to me by the very talented Angelina Benedetti. She did a gorgeous version of this concept art a few years ago.The reference most likely came from Natalieportman.com. I have no rights to Natalie Portman or Padme.

Fabriano Watercolor Hot Press paper
2B and 6B Staedtler pencils
2B, F, 2H, 3B Kimberly pencils
.5 4B, 2B and Howard mechanical pencils
Kneaded eraser and pencil eraser
Blending stumps and Kleenex

Oh, this is so beautiful--and I love so much that this photo hasn't been used a lot! The headdress/earrings have a decidedly Native American feel to them, and the draping of her hair compliments that "feel." Such beautiful contrasts, skintones and shading--and as always, flawless likeness to Ms. Portman. Love it love it!
