I drew this back in 2000. Someone requested that I draw a lightsaber that was a combination of two actual lightsabers from Star Wars. It has been so long now, I don’t remember who requested the drawing and I don’t even remember what two lightsabers that I used as reference! Sad, isn’t it? I do remember it took about 3 hours to draw this and it is on 9 x 12 Bienfang drawing papers. The original is lighter than the scan.Related content

The shine on the hilt actualy makes it look like chrome, Unbelevable detail.

OMG I can't believe you still have that drawing. That was a request from me back when I was writing fan fiction on theforce.net. It was actually a combination of Luke's Skywalker's hand grip and Qui Gon Jinn original lightsaber. Still amazed by the level of detail you were able to create.

It's no problem I still remember the day you sent me the email with that pic. Can't describe the level of excitment lol. I still do write just not so much in the fan fiction realm. Although I do still play around with plot ideas and have more than a few stories gathering dust on my hard drive

I would say it's a cross between the design Ki Adi and Aayla Secura used in Episode III and The Clone Wars series and the ribs would indicate Obi-Wan's final saber.
