Description
“Sensei, the S-class meeting today was different than usual.”
Genos’ words brought his teacher, Saitama’s attention onto him, interest gleaming in his brown orbs.
“How so?”
“Everyone has their daily reports?” Shichi of the hero association asked as he glanced around the room, seeing who would offer to speak up first.
Metal Bat rolled his eyes due to the silence and intended to raise his hand, if only the roof above them didn’t break apart, a female figure landing roughly on the table, her body revealing horrible injuries.
“What in the–quick! Someone get her treated!”
Shichi seemed to have snapped them out of their daze and Genos immediately scooped her up, rushing towards the nearest medical office in the massive building.
“Doctor, this girl is in critical condition and needs treatment.”
The voice startled the male doctor and he swiftly turned in his chair, panic gleaming in his eyes but confusion soon took over when his eyes landed on the female.
“Genos-san, I think you’re mistaken.”
That made the cyborg blink and he gazed down but his eyes seemed to have widened a moment after he took in the fact that the girl’s injuries vanished.
“She was on the verge of dying…” He mumbled in disbelief.
“Let her rest and when she wakes up, you can question her then.” Agreeing with the suggestion, Genos placed her on the bed in a gentle manner before seating himself on the chair besides it.
His eyes remained on her as he thought back on the situation, his expression remaining neutral.
‘Everyone saw it so it can’t be just my imagination…She must have some sort of power. Immortality?’ His guess seemed to have fit with the events that just occurred and he nodded to himself, deciding to go with that idea.
“Oh, that’s cool. Let’s go see her.”
“But, we can’t just-”
“You made me curious, Genos so you’re going to be responsible and take your sensei there.”
Saitama expressed those words in such a serious character that it made Genos straighten to his full height an exclaim,
“Hai! I will take you there right away!”
Turning his back to Genos who hurried off to get changed in another outfit, an exhale of relief left his lips.
‘Phew, that was close. If I hadn’t have said it like that, he wouldn’t have taken me there.’
Saitama truly was bored to death ever since he completed looking through the manga book he lately bought so when he learnt about the story from Genos, he knew this was the opportunity to liven up his day.
“I’m ready, sensei!”

A groan elicited from the guests lips earning the males, who sat on the seat besides the bed, attention and she soon sat up, rubbing her eyes and blinking away the blurriness.
“Oi.”
The rough voice frightened her and she gawked at the male who held a silver bat, it resting on his shoulder. The way he eyed her with such intensity, his grasp on the item tightening, her form happened to tremble then as tears arose in her eyes.
“P-Please don’t hurt me.”
Metal Bat didn’t intend to panic the poor girl and he loosened up, raising his hands in defence.
“I’m not gonna hurt you so, don’t cry.” His words appeared to have comforted her and she wiped away her tears, her [E/C] orbs settling onto her hands.
“May I ask where I am?” She questioned, her voice barely above a whisper.
“You’re in the hero association building.” He adjusted himself in his seat as he answered her question.
Hearing the news relieved her and a shy smile painted her lips.
“My name is [L/N] [F/N], nineteen years old. Nice to meet you.”
“People know me by the name Metal Bat since I’m a hero and I’m seventeen. It’s good meeting you too.” He nodded as a greeting, a small grin revealing itself.
“She’s woken up, sensei.”
The voice caught them off guard and they both averted their attention onto the door, two figures stepping inside just then. [F/N] felt her eyes widen as she recognised the bald male who seemed to be a little less surprised to see her.
“Oh, [F/N]-san.”
“Saitama-san.”
The exchange took Metal Bat and Genos by perplexity and they glanced between you, wondering who would explain.
“Saitama-san has always been there to save me whenever I would get in danger.” She revealed with a sheepish smile, Metal Bat’s gaze become one of disbelief.
“How many times have you actually been attacked?” He couldn’t help ask, Genos also interested in the current topic.
“Once or twice a week. I-It’s because they are attracted to my presence.” [F/N] answered, having to explain further when she noticed the shock they revealed after.
Saitama stepped closer to her and leaned down to see if there were any marks left from the injuries she received before but found none.
“You’re lucky you are able to heal yourself otherwise you probably would have died from those injuries. Sorry that I couldn’t be there for you today.”
While [F/N] frantically shook her hands in front of her while trying to assure him that it was fine, the two S-class heroes were trying to take the news in about her healing abilities.
“Can you heal others?” Genos blurted out, his curiosity getting him to question.
A small frown settled onto [F/N]’s features and she shrugged, her eyes moving down to her hands once more.
“I honestly have no idea how to use them since I’ve never been trained. I wish I could so then I could be of some use but I don’t know who to ask.” Saitama patted her head in a comforting manner and she lightly smiled over this.
“That settles it then.”
Another person entered the room which the heroes recognised to be Shichi while [F/N] was startled by his unexpected appearance at first, marvel soon glistening in her orbs.
“[F/N]-san, we will train you to become a hero.”
