I'm not someone who has a lot of knowledge of taking photographs.

But as someone with a major in arts, I have to go through every type of art, be it sculptures, paintings, photography, architecture etc.
I don't know how this works abroad, but in Germany you have to go through every topic of art if you choose to keep it. And as someone with a major in arts, you have to go through it with a very deep insight into every topic.

Quite some time ago we got the task to take some specific portaits which counted as a project which we had to hand in.
And this is one of the photos I took. It's a dear friend of mine.
While having to go through the whole topic of photography, with all it's different styles and history, I found myself enjoying it quite a lot. I loooove to take portraits, especially of non smiling faces and of small details.

Through the course of the year and my class I found out that I am the person who enjoys painting and taking photos the most. I'm in no shape or form a professional, but as a hobby it makes me quite happy.

Also: I love Livs quite serious expression. I know her as always laughing. Even if she doesn't laugh, she still doesn't get a very serious expression on her face. So I was very surprised as I took a picture of her with a serious face. This is not the first picture I took of her with such an expression.
Also: Liv is my go-to-model Every time a need a good photo, I go to her. And every time she complains about me taking pictures of her serious face xD But she still allows me to do it and even gave permission to upload them.

So: Thank you my dear, dear friend! <3
(If anyone is curious: her major is music. I do not envy her. Can you even imagine having to listen to some weird old piece of music and then INTERPRET IT?! And then having someone grade you for that kind of work?)
