Description
So here's a little horsie that was meant to help me break out of a perfectionist rut and also my first completed attempt at pastel pencils. I feel like this one has a more "storybook illustration" look to it, and less realistic than my usual, but that's okay. Although I realize now that I got the anatomy on the face kind of wrong (the bridle in my reference photo covered up much of the muscle), but that has just given me motivation to get studying again.

Also this is the last piece of 2015! Bring on 2016!
